Durant suffered a ruptured Achilles during the NBA Finals, and he is expected to miss all of next year . Still, the four-time scoring champion has been a dominant force for his entire 12-year career, landing on nine All-NBA teams and winning the 2013-14 NBA MVP. Months of anticipation, speculation and mock drafts will give way to the Arizona Cardinals likely selecting Oklahoma signal-caller Kyler Murray with the first overall pick. That’s when I’d have quit. But I didn’t quit on myself and I didn’t quit on the world. That’s why I’m back here to tell the story. … Life’s hard. Nothing’s ever going to hit you as hard as life will. And anyone who suffers from mental health problems, it is a silent killer. It kills more people every year than most other things. “… I was no different.
